Abstract
Examines collaboration between NATO and Russian forces in peacekeeping operations in Bosnia, Herzegovina, and Kosovo during the 1990’s as a case study in the evolution of NATO’s post-Cold War relationship with Russia. Although the experience in peacekeeping collaboration affords grounds for optimism, more fundamental political and economic developments within Russia will determine the future of its strategic partnership with the West.
