Well-Being
Author(s)Deng, Francis Mading
AbstractThe chapter describes well-being and health in Dinka society from the two perspectives: sociological and legal. The sociological perspective outlines individuals’ roles in the well-being system on a familial and tribal level. The implications of these roles are traced to the national level. The legal perspective focuses on the influence of values surrounding well-being on legal practices in Dinka society.
