Abstract
Navine Murshid talks to people in different sectors to evaluate the role and significance of development assistance in Bangladesh. While foreign aid helps to fill up the savings gap, trade gap and often promotes economic growth and transference of skills, there have been questions on whether there are actual long term gains or not; whether in the name of assistance we are only being exploited.
