Training Shopkeepers and Schoolchildren in Medicine Use: Experiments in Applied Medical Anthropology in East Africa

Abstract
This is a report on a health education workshop held in Nov 1998 in Mbale, Eastern Uganda, attended by researchers from other African countries. The participants discussed the usefulness of training shopkeepers and teaching children in using medicines to improve the quality of health care.
