Reevaluating Zulu Religion: An Afrocentric Analysis

Abstract
A brief overview of Zulu history and traditions is offered to reevaluate traditional Zulu social patterns and the European interpretations of Zulu people’s system of beliefs, and questions on religious and spiritual practices. The inconsistency of the attribution of Christian and Muslim traditions to the Southern African indigenous peoples in comparison with the human being’s responsibility that underlies the holistic cosmogony of every African is shown
