Abstract
Archeologists will play an important role in providing ethnobiological information to countries that want to convert indigenous knowledge of biological resources into intellectual property. Intellectual property is important for the expansion of capitalism, but people who have been generous with their knowlege and resources must be justly compensated. They should be guaranteed land, cultural and human rights.
