International Inequalities
Author(s)Myrdal, Gunnar
AbstractLooking at the broad structure of facts and relations (as opposed to particular cases) the author hypothesizes that normally a social process is cumulative because of circular causation. Regional inequalities are related to international inequalities. Myrdal examines the roles of trade, capital movements, migration, colonialism, and the absence of a world state in development.
