The Theory of Distribution
Author(s)Robinson, Joan
AbstractThis chapter defines GSOs (grassroots support organizations) and MSOs (membership support organizations) and looks at their paradoxes and linkages. The author reviews relevant literature covering intermediary-type organizations and their relationship with their base constituencies. The author argues that with well-aimed support, NGOs could do even more to help grassroots groups move to self-help and mobilization.
