Abstract
An insight into the need for the growth of the economic performance of the Middle East, which is sitting on a demographic time bomb with the population expected to rise by 25 percent by 2010 is presented. The fact that measures necessary to accelerate economic growth, like successful cross-border economic integration may be caught in the net of public opinion about globalization and religion is highlighted.
