AbstractThe economic relationship between two hostile or potentially hostile countries is examined, focusing on how the accumulation of arms stocks may affect the economic development of both countries. Topics include Turkish-Russian relations, the importance of trade as a diplomatic tool for peace, and the efficient allocation of resources as they relate to consumer products and arms.
