AbstractMember nations of the OECD are taking steps to deal with the rising tide of immigration from non-OECD countries. Most measures adopted relate to three general objectives: curbing immigration flows and eliminating illegal immigration; assisting in the integration of existing immigrant communities; and promoting economic development and employment creation in developing countries with high migration rates.
