Abstract
Priya Nanda looks at the impact of decentralization on the delivery of quality reproductive health services in Zambia as a part of the health sector reform process initiated in 1991. Using research that focused on field-based perspectives of policy makers, donor organizations, women’s rights-based NGOs and providers of services, Nanda highlights the limitations of decentralization for a reproductive health and rights agenda in Zambia.
