Abstract
Spirituality based on justice and ecology is needed in dealing with the crises and challenges facing humans in contemporary times. In working to heal the earth, their communities and themselves, people need to have a renewal of spirit and an openness to the power of love and compassion. The correct spiritual and political practice requires action with a peaceful inner awareness that they are doing the right thing. This entails truth, compassion and justice in struggling for the rejuvenation of the earth and relationships with one another.
