Abstract
Chinese leaders are under increasing pressure to govern China as a modern society without giving up political leadership through Communism. Neoconservative views have become more relevant in current political thinking. Governance through law and order is of prime importance to many politicians, particularly since the social uprising in Tiananmen square, China. Dissidents in favor of democracy have been forced to leave the country.
