Abstract
This selection addresses the question of how industry can produce products to meet needs and generate wealth in ways that do not degrade the environment or exacerbate growing global inequality. The suggestion of an “eco-industrial revolution”, where industry would redefine it’s goals and the tools and technologies used to achieve them, is made.
