The concept of ‘sustainability’ is currently being applied worldwide to eradicate real, live women’s public visibility. The discussion of women’s problems has been removed by the ‘gender discourse’ imposed within a capitalist and patriarchal society at a politically-vague and irrelevant level. Thus, an increase of violence against women around the world is observed to increase in light of the deepening crisis of the global system. Feminists must therefore endeavor to overthrow the barriers to global capitalist patriarchy such as oppression, colonization and exploitation.
