Employment and Unemployment in the New Market Economies

Abstract
In the new market, transition economies, the labor market adjustment process has created rising unemployment rates and different social groups are passing unequally through development. This article analyzes this trends and recommends greater support for the disadvantaged so as to make adjustment easier.
