Abstract
In the context of the overarching question of how to end poverty resulting from capitalism’s latest phase, i.e., globalization, the Asian Financial Crisis; global migration, multiculturalism, and ethnic minorities; human rights and nationalism; and dilemmas confronting contemporary socialism are discussed.
