Morality and the Marketplace
Author(s)Blumberg, Paul
AbstractBecause an economy shapes the quality of life in society, it is important not to overlook the social and moral consequences of an economic system. In this chapter, the author asks two questions: What does the economy do for people? and What does it do to people? In answering these questions, the author looks at capitalism and asks if capitalism is moral.
