Author(s)
Myrdal, Gunnar
Abstract
Myrdal states that commercial and financial policies of developed countries toward underdeveloped countries are a moral issue. In discussing the feelings and interests surrounding the roles of foreign aid in development, Myrdal looks at allocation of aid, private direct investment, loss of independence, corruption, distribution of aid and national interests.
