Between Two Poles: Bronislaw Malinowski, Ludwik Fleck, and the Anthropology of Science
Author(s)Gonzalez, Roberto J.; Nader; Laura C.; Ou, Jay
AbstractThe works of Polish writers and philosophers Bronislaw Malinowski and Ludwik Fleck have been the subject of debates among anthropologists for many years. Their articles analyze the scientific practices of both Western and non-Western people with respect to humanity and technology. They also criticize Western scientists for treating knowledge traditions outside the West as inferior and irrelevant.
