Advances and developments in history, archeology, anthropology and the African Humanities warrant a closer examination of the concept of ‘wealth-in-people’ and its relationship to wealth-in-things. Wealth-in-people is a uniquely African manner of accumulation and represents the important role the value of people exerted on the history of Africa for hundreds of years.
