Abstract
Father Nzamujo reflects on the work of Songhai in Benin in strengthening the capacity of African youth to engage in agricultural practices which promote sustainable livelihoods. He looks at the complex situation facing African youth today and at ways to foster their creative energy, vision and ability to forge their own lives through community work.
