AbstractAssesses the extent of aid donors’ response to the challenge of the Education For All Conference, held in Jomtien, Thailand, Mar. 1990, in which donor agencies committed to ensuring basic education for all children in developing countries by 2000. Some focus on conference sponsors United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the World Bank.
