Abstract
Ecofeminism has several implications for the development of a global socio-political structure based on tolerance. Since ecofeminism recognizes the need for species diversity in the environment, it also acknowledges the need for cultural diversity in society. Ecofeminism is also postmodernist as it rejects simplistic, restricting Eurocentric universals.
