On Economics as a Life Science
Author(s)Daly, Herman E.
AbstractDaly attempts to bring together some of the more salient similarities between biology and economics. He also argues that these analogies are profoundly rooted in the fact that the ultimate subject matter of biology and economics is one thing: the life process. He then provides an approach to a more “general equilibrium” model by considering the human economy from an ecological perspective.
