Doing Social Economics in a Postmodern World
Author(s)Brown, Doug
AbstractThe social changes in the postmodern civilization such as social heterogeneity, increased mobility, flexible production modes and eccentric beliefs, are discussed. The massive bombardment of information in the postmodern world creates a fission of varied personalities and the dislocation of individuals can lead to the breakdown of relationships. Innovations in production technology also provide greater selectivity of products available in the market.
