Selections from Benefit, Cost, and Beyond
Author(s)Campen, James T.
AbstractCritics of conventional economics often suggest that cost-benefit analysis is biased against or incapable of adequate representation of nonmarket values. In contrast, the work selected here argues that benefit-cost analysis, or BCA, if done properly is an indispensable part of rational collective decision making and can make an important contribution to a strategy for progressive economic change.
