Every nation in the world has found it necessary to regulate markets to protect consumers, workers, and the public, but there are no plans to regulate the global market. This chapter presents an action strategy to create a global civil economy. The time has come to think about a planetary self-governing system of markets, discuss the idea in UN conferences, and implement experiments in a more just economy. This chapter focuses on three steps to treat the destructive forces in business markets: a) to conceptualize a global civil economy; b) to experiment with civil market solutions; and c) to organize global workshops.
