Abstract
Daly critiques Young’s main argument that entropy is “an anthropomorphic concept intimately associated with what is useful and, therefore, defined by current technology.” Daly disputes that to suggest that entropy is an anthropomorphic concept in no way implies that it is defined by current technology. He points out that new technology will change any system, thus creating blanket statements about their effect on systems is not backed up by any credible evidence.
