If Counting Was the Limit of Intelligence: My Search for an Alternative to the UNSNA
Author(s)Waring, Marilyn J.
AbstractIn this chapter, the author searches for an alternative to the United Nations System of National Accounts (UNSNA), due to its unequal public policies favoring males over females. She attempts to do this by first validating the work done by women, and explaining the implications of current public policy. She continues by explaining the problems of inputting women’s work and issues concerning the environment, offering up a three stage plan to deal with the problem.
