The Rounding of the Earth: Ecology and Global History
Author(s)Goodwin, Neva R.
AbstractIn this chapter, the author continues ideas about the UNSNA by examining the system in operation and its effects on the lives of women and children. This examination focuses on showing whose public policy interests are served by the system-men. Through this critique on the UNSNA, the author hopes to shed light on the work done by women, and the need of the organization in creating public policy in favor of females.
