AbstractReform in Mongolia during the past decade and a half has been remarkably peaceful compared to turbulent changes in the Soviet Union or in the ethnically diverse nations of Central Asia; and the stability and adaptability of Mongolia’s Communist Party may be the most important reason for Mongolia’s peaceful reform.
