Conflict in the Kampuchean Communist Movement
Author(s)Kiernan, Ben
AbstractDiscusses the ideologies of a chauvinist group led by Pol Pot, whose major concern has been the rapid development of Cambodia into an industrial country with great strength for national defense, and the group now led in Pnompenh by President Heng Samrin, consisting of people attracted to the Vietnamese socialist model. These different approaches are reflected in the magazine Tung Padevat and a 1973 Summary of Annotated Party History.
