Rationale for a Science Museum
Author(s)Oppenheimer, Frank
AbstractFor many people, the fields of science and technology can be very intimidating and daunting at times, causing them to avoid these fields in all applicable areas of their lives. For this reason, the author explores the need to create an environment in which people can investigate science and technology, while simultaneously gaining understanding and control of these topics. In its physical manifestation, he envisions this environment as a Science Museum, and details the goals of such an institution through the course of his analysis.
