The Origin and Development of the Old Catholic Movement
Author(s)Beyschlag, Willibald
AbstractThis paper gives an account of the origin and progress of the Old Catholic movement. The author suggests that the origin of this movement cannot be understood apart from the Vatican council, and this itself is but the closing scene of a struggle which pervades the whole history of the western Catholic church.
