Abstract
Discusses the ways in which contemporary religious communities have approached the possibilities of pluralism and social tensions with one another. This chapter examines the perspectives adopted on various sides of contemporary debate and shows clashes of ideology that more often deal with ignorance and misunderstanding than with true religious incompatibility.
