Bahaism: A Study of a Contemporary Movement
Author(s)Vail, Albert R.
AbstractWhat is the secret of the growth of the Bahai gospel? What inspires 20,000 men, women, and children to become willing martyrs in its path? This article presents Bahaism as not so much an organization as a spiritual attitude, not so much a new religion as religion renewed. It argues that to be a Bahai, a man need not sever his previous religious affiliations, he becomes one of the Bahai movement when he catches the Bahai spirit.
