Regaining Our African Aesthetics and Essence through Our African Traditional Religion
Author(s)Kamara, Gibreel M.
AbstractAt the dawn of the 21st century, there are still those who relentlessly argue that Africans do not have a philosophy worthy of consideration because of one frivolous reason or the other. This paper argues that Africans have always had religion and philosophical thought patterns. The manifestations of African religion and philosophy are no doubt different from those of other peoples, but difference does not translate to absence or nonexistence.
