Individual Psychological Culture and Subjective Well-being
Author(s)Ratzlaff, Charlotte; Matsumoto, David; Kouznetsova; Raroque, Jacqes; Ray, Rebecca
AbstractThis work gives an analysis of current ideas on what subjective well-being (SWB) is, and discusses the relatively recent emergence of research on culture’s impact on it. After starting with the premise that culture is actually a highly individualistic experience, the chapter goes into more detailed analyses of the relation between individual culture and SWB.
