The Science of Happiness
Author(s)Myers, David G.; Diener, Ed
AbstractAlthough the scientific pursuit of happiness has recently mushroomed, speculations about happiness are ages old. Although swayed by temporary moods, people’s self-reported well-being on “happiness” measures is moderately consistent over years of retesting. Many people believe there are unhappy times of life, but interviews with people of all ages reveal that no time of life is notably happier or unhappier.
