Colombia's Conflict and Theories of World Politics
Author(s)Mason, Ann
AbstractThe author uses Colombia as an example to point out the inadequacy of International Relations theory in explaining the relationship between violent internal conflict and global volatility, and between non-state actors and world politics. The author concludes that testing IR theory in such peripheral regions could lead to new theorizing about world politics.
