International Law and International Relations Theory: A Dual Agenda
Author(s)Burley, Anne-Marie Slaughter
AbstractCooperation between government agencies and the private sector in developing countries toward the promotion of efficient public service is crucial to sustainable development. The public/private sector partnership may come in different forms such as active involvement of private companies in economic development projects and their participation in planning and establishing economic guidelines. Furthermore, sustainable development policies must be enforced in both non-profit and for-profit companies. An alliance with developed countries’ technical expertise will also prove helpful.
