AbstractRoehrig reviews the important events that led up to the current state of affairs between North Korea and the US, summarizes the provisions of the Agreed Framework and updates the status of its implementation. He discusses some of the problems of the Agreed Framework, North Korean capabilities and motivation concerning nuclear weapons and the goals of the US and its allies. He concludes with recommendations for reforming the Agreed Framework.
