Poorest Nations and Development Co-operation: In Search of an Elusive Ethic
Author(s)Rasheed, Sadig
AbstractSadig Rasheed argues that commitment to international development cooperation is visibly faltering, precisely at the historical juncture when such commitment and creative vision on strengthened global partnership are most needed. He proposes a reinstatement of the North-South dialogue that moves beyond an uncritical monologue on the virtues and benefits of globalization and free markets, focusing on Africa as the ‘priority of the priorities’.
