Abstract
A definition for ‘Aristotelianism’ that applies to the fields of ethics and politics is discussed. It is argued that Aristotelianism embodies the practical quality of the study of ethics and politics. It should not be defined according to a body of texts, doctrine or mode of discourse but rather as a structure which shapes the way political and moral issues are raised and answered.
