Corporate Political Activity: A Review and a Research Agenda

AbstractCorporate attempts to shape government policy favorable to the firm are commonly used by firms across countries. A model is proposed for the antecedents of Corporate Political Activity (CPA), different types of CPA, how firms organize to implement CPA and the outcomes of CPA for public policy and firm performance. An agenda for future research is proposed.
