Abstract
The nature and evolution of family policy in terms of its effects on women during the 1990s in Korea are examined by highlighting the influence of family policy on women and on their roles and identity within the family. The effects of specific family policy on women’s roles and identity as well as the limits and possibilities of the specific family agenda from a feminist viewpoint are investigated.
