Do NGOs Produce Insecurity in the Long Run?
Author(s)Hellerstein, Rebecca
AbstractCan the well-intentioned actions of NGO’s or other voluntary organization decrease the security of the populations they serve? Shifts away from public institutions raises questions about the sustainability of such nongovernmental initiatives as well as their accountability to the populations they serve.
