Witches and Shamans
Author(s)Ginzberg, Carlo; Hood, Stuart
AbstractThe realms of history and morphology were explored in the book ‘Storia notturna,’ which deals with witches and witchcraft. The book historically and morphologically illustrated the link between the benandanti or nightwalkers, and the shamans. Elaborate exploratory research was used to test the assumption that witchcraft had been a primitive instrument of class struggle.
